PRODUCT FILM CONCEPT

Solara Tidal Moisture

72H hydration that moves with you.

Project overview

SOLARA Tidal Moisture is an original skincare product-film concept built around a simple promise: 72-hour hydration that moves with you. Rather than explaining the benefit through data alone, the film makes hydration feel physical, using water, light, texture, and motion to connect the product, its experience, and its result.

Project status
SOLARA is an original fictional brand and self-initiated concept created by Brian Castleforte.

The Idea

The visual language comes from the tide: constant, fluid, and responsive. The product is staged within a sculptural coastal world where water and reflected light move across its surfaces, turning hydration into an atmospheric experience. The film shifts between intimate material detail and expansive ocean energy, making a functional product promise feel premium, sensorial, and alive.

The Process

I developed SOLARA as a complete original brand and product-film concept, defining the product promise, identity, packaging, visual language, and story before directing the production through a hybrid AI and motion-design workflow. Generative tools helped create and animate source material, while the product presentation, pacing, transitions, compositing, and final finish were shaped through hands-on creative direction and post-production.

  1. 01Concept & Brand Design

Defined the SOLARA identity, imagined skincare product, packaging, 72-hour hydration proposition, and tidal creative platform that connects the brand promise to every visual decision.

  2. 02AI-Assisted Production

Directed iterative image and video generation to develop the coastal environments, fluid movement, reflected light, product materials, and visual continuity across the film.

  3. 03Motion & Finish

Built the final experience through editing, product animation, fluid transitions, compositing, light and reflection work, color, and finishing so each shot supports one cohesive product story.

AI was used as a production tool within a directed creative process. The concept, brand and product design, visual language, storytelling, motion decisions, compositing, and final finish remained hands-on creative work.
